What is this and who is it for?
Classical Christian Paideia is a family teaching and discipleship plan for birth through high school, covering spiritual learning, academic content, and skills (academic and life). It came from my experience as both a classroom and homeschool teacher, but it is more than a homeschool plan.
That is because this resource is not only about home education, but about total life discipling for you and your children. It is about understanding our goals and responsibilities as parents, what God calls us to, and about figuring out how to rise to those challenges in the twenty-first century. I truly believe any parents who want to do that will find something in here that will resonate with them.
Homeschooling or not, anyone with little ones can benefit from the part aimed at birth to age five.
For those with school age kids - if you homeschool, or plan to, this can provide a biblical foundation on which to build your plan, with specific curriculum suggestions to support it.
If your kids are in public or private school, this can help you evaluate the gaps in what is being taught (and not taught) there, and also in your church, and make a plan to fill those gaps at home.
If you work with kids in the church, it may give you ideas of what kids at different ages need and can do.
If your child has special needs, it may help you look at their needs and abilities in a different way.
